You can now sign up for James’ class on meetup! Looks like it’ll be a great series. He taught the recent Learn to Solder class and it was very informative.

More details:

The Basic Breadboard Electronics learning series is designed to train and empower anyone with an interest in electronics to be able to master the basics. We will cover component identification and properties, Ohm’s Law, power, test equipment, common analog and digital circuits, sensors, motors, integrated circuits, microprocessors and modules. The theory will be limited to the scope of a weekend hobbyist and what is needed to enable you to confidently select the best component values and develop your own projects.

We are going to begin November 23rd and run every Saturday morning at the new MakerSpace until January 25th (10 consecutive weeks). Jaycon is offering parts kits to correspond with the labs each week for $10; which are optional but highly encouraged for the ‘hands-on’ fun element of learning.

Please ‘RSVP’ for each class by clicking the signup links on this page. Then we can have enough materials available.

The site is complete, containing all of the containing all of the material, handouts, etc
